It's senior night for football, cross country, and band, as they will be recognized before kick-off. The Tiger Football team will take on East Mills at 7 PM at Henry Boone Field. We will also honor a few former coaches, such as Marshall Scichilone, who will be inducted into the Iowa Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame, in March. We will be recognizing Coach Schichilone and his assistants, Tyler Knott, Jim Mullenix, and Donn Alvis at the time. It's a great night to be a Tiger. Dear PK-4th grade Parents and Guardians, We're excited to invite you to Student-Led Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, October 29th, and Wednesday, October 30th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM each day. As a reminder, we will have a 1:30 dismissal on both of these days to accommodate for conferences. During these conferences, your child will take the lead in sharing their progress and learning goals with you. This is a fantastic opportunity to: Hear directly from your child about their academic journey. Learn about their strengths and areas for growth. Collaborate with your child's teacher to support their continued success. Get ready for Hot Lunch Week October 14-18 Each student invites a special person to come and eat lunch with them. Our amazing cooks know how to draw a crowd, so we've set up this schedule: -Kindergarten/TK: Monday, October 14th at 10:45am -1st Grade: Tuesday, October 15th at 10:55am -2nd Grade: Wednesday, October 16th at 11:00am -3rd Grade: Thursday, October 17th at 11:05am -4th Grade: Friday, October 18th at 11:20am The lunch fee to eat with students this year is $4.85. The guest lunch will be charged to the student's account, but we do request that the account have enough money to cover the cost of the lunch. The guests are welcome to "donate" to the student's lunch account to make sure the cost is covered in advance or on the day of the event. NO change will be given on the assigned days above. Sign-up forms have been mailed out, or you can pick one up in the elementary office. Don't forget to thank a cook!
