Get ready for an exciting afternoon at the Monarch Relays! Our high school boys' and Girls' track teams will compete at the Denison High School Track. Field events start at 4:00 PM, followed by the first running event at 4:30 PM. Girls will throw the shot first, and boys will throw the discus first.

Meet Dillon Reed — Woodbine Class of 2026
From sprint medleys to future home builder: Dillon plans to attend Metro Community College to earn his HVAC/R degree and is already saving to buy/build a house for his family in 10 years. Proud son of Matt & Heather Reed and big brother to Wyatt (15) and Evan (11). Fun fact: he can’t sleep without his teddy bear and a night light. Favorite high school memory? Winning state in the sprint medley for track. Advice to underclassmen: “Take advantage of your opportunities.”

Ever have a teacher who’s been there since day one? Same teacher since kindergarten → senior year. Favorite moments: class hangouts and field trips with Alison. After graduation, she will be stepping into the community as a CNA, and in 10 years, I see myself still dedicated to this career. 13 students were able to attend the SWICDA honor choir at Lewis Central High School on Tuesday, March 10th. While several other students went to the state basketball game that day, these students opted for an afternoon of singing with several other Southwest Iowa schools under the direction of a guest conductor. They each learned five songs that afternoon and put on a concert that evening at 7 pm. The students who attended were:
