We’re thrilled to announce that Charlie Pryor, our senior co-valedictorian, was featured at the 42nd Anniversary of Best of the Class on April 24, 2025, at the Orpheum Theatre! This year, KCAU 9 hosted 105 schools to celebrate the best and brightest in the Tri-State area. Students enjoyed a delicious lunch from Buffalo Wild Wings and refreshing drinks from Chesterman Bottling Company. The keynote speaker, Corey Westra, Commissioner of the Great Plains Athletic Conference, spoke to the class of 2025. #classof2025 #wcsdtigerpride #BestOfTheClass #KCAU9


Tonight's Phil Hummel track meet has been postponed. The makeup date will be Thursday, May 1st. We will run it as a COED Meet, since we have the Girls Woodbine Invitational that night.

Our Quiz Bowl team performed outstandingly in the final rounds at the Nationals! They placed 21st overall and 7th in the Very Small Schools division. Special congratulations to Tony Kuker, who earned All-Star honors for the second time, finishing with the 8th highest score in the tournament. Treyton, son of Michael & Kristine Cook, is a powerhouse athlete, participating in baseball, basketball, football, track, and even NHS and choir! After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Exercise Science and hopes to settle into a career in the next 10 years. Fun fact: he’s attended 6 different high schools! His fondest memory? Spending time with friends.

After graduation, Jace plans to operate heavy equipment and gain experience working with his grandpa, Neil. His fun fact? He can talk his way out of almost any homework!
