What a fantastic evening at the Living Windows event! Our National Honor Society teamed up with Woodbine Main Street to bring holiday cheer to the Bright Lights Little City event. We had the Grinch running around, Tiger Santa assisting the Humane Society with kitty adoptions, and even a snowball fight in the Aroma windows!

What an exciting day at WCSD! Our PreK-4 students participated in the Hour of Code, where they engaged in hands-on learning with amazing devices like BeeBots, Finch Robots, and Sphero Bolts! A huge shoutout to our 5/6 students and teachers Shawna Harris and Kyle Bartels for hosting this event in the HS gymnasium! A special thank you to Heather Lundquist with GHAEA and her support. With Iowa being one of the top 10 states in Computer Science, we’re proud to provide our students with these unique experiences that many districts can’t offer.
