What an incredible day for our kids, all thanks to a STEM Grant! We kicked off our adventure with a backstage tour at Bellevue Chick-fil-A, where the owner shared the science behind cooking—temperature, cleanliness, timing, and the freshness of ingredients. After that, we headed to Gene Leahy Mall Park, where the kids had a blast sliding down metal slides on cardboard! We even made stops at Hollywood Candy and Coldstone Creamery, tasting all the sweet ways sugar is a key ingredient! #stemandfood
