Just a friendly reminder: The Unified Activity Federation (Iowa High School Athletic Association, Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, Iowa High School Music Association, and Iowa High School Speech Association) Non-Contact Period for the summer of 2024 will be Sunday, July 27, 2025, through Sunday, August 3, 2025. This is the fifth year of an annual break in activities across Iowa each summer. During this time, there will be no activities in the Woodbine Community School District, including camps, clinics, workouts, strength and conditioning sessions, lessons, and meetings.#GoTigers #woodbinetigerpride

The dates of the 2025 summer break non-contact period have been set. The Unified Activity Federation (Iowa High School Athletic Association, Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, Iowa High School Music Association, and Iowa High School Speech Association) Non-Contact Period for the summer of 2025 runs Sunday, July 27, 2025, through Sunday, August 3, 2025.

During this period, there will be no activities in the Woodbine Community School District. This includes practices, camps, clinics, workouts, strength and conditioning, lessons, meetings, etc.

Exciting news! Rowan Kruse auditioned for the 2025 All Iowa Show Choir this past April and was one of 54 students accepted from across Iowa! After a summer of dedication, she traveled to Central College in Pella, IA, where she learned three songs and gave a public performance today at 1:15 PM. Let’s celebrate her amazing achievement and the talent that small schools can showcase! Way to go, Rowan! State Softball and Baseball Tournaments are taking place this week. State Softball is being played in Fort Dodge for all classes.
State Baseball classes 1A & 2A are being played at Merchants Park in Carroll, with Classes 3A & 4A playing at Lewis & Clark Park in Sioux City.

What an exciting week last week was for Tiger Tots and Latch Key! The kids had a fantastic time watching "Sonic the Hedgehog 3," splashing around at the Denison Aquatic Center, and indulging in delicious ice cream treats! Dental screenings are required for students entering Kindergarten and their freshman year, 9th grade. Vision screenings are required for students entering Kindergarten and 3rd grade.
