Big shoutout to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association for announcing the Girls Academic All State Basketball Team! Special congrats to our senior, Charlie Pryor, among 155+ amazing applicants! With an ACT composite of 27.2, a scoring avg of 16, & a GPA of 4.0, Charlie is a superstar on and off the court! 15 members are top of their class, taking 214 college prep courses! Senior Volleyball standout DJ Steinkuehler has officially signed her letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Southwestern Community College (SWCC) in Creston, Iowa where she will pursue a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science!
DJ has been a 4-year standout on the Tiger volleyball team, ending her career with 651 kills and 145 blocks. She was also a two-time Rolling Valley Conference first team selection. Join us in wishing DJ the best as she takes her talents to the next level! Congrats DJ!

Congratulations to Coach Bartels and Kolpin and the boys basketball team as they have qualified for the state tournament. The boys will play next Wednesday (3/12) at 3:45 PM at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Based on the timing of the game, the WCSD will not have school on 3/12. We encourage everyone to head to Des Moines to support the team. Go Tigers!

What an incredible weekend for Woodbine’s Visual Harmonics Show Choir! They traveled to Vermillion, South Dakota to compete in the Rhythm in Red Show Choir Invitational and brought home some fantastic achievements! They earned the Grand Champion title for small groups and secured a spot in the finals, finishing in the top 6 out of 9 schools! #visualharmonics #woodbineactivities

Three Woodbine students participated in the 2025 District Individual Event Speech Competition today at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs. Leah C. And Eva D. in Musical Theater, and Aaron C. in Improvisation. All three students received a 1 rating and will compete at the State Individual Speech Competition in Ames on Sat., Mar. 15.

It's game time! Join us for the Substate Finals at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs! The Tigers are set to battle the Crusaders of Coon Rapids, and will be the visitor on the scoreboard. The student council theme for the night is a Beach Theme.
