BIG NEWS! Join us in celebrating Cayden Schafer, a Senior at Woodbine Community School District, who has just been awarded the prestigious Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement!
This is one of the highest and rarest honors a JROTC cadet can earn. Out of hundreds of thousands of cadets worldwide, fewer than 100 receive this recognition each year.
To qualify, Cayden had to rank in the top of her JROTC unit, stand in the top 25% of her academic class, and demonstrate exceptional leadership, discipline, and community service.
We are incredibly proud of your hard work, dedication, and leadership, Cayden! You embody the very best of our district. Demand excellence, inspire others!

PK–4th Grade Parents and Guardians,

We're excited to invite you to Student-Led Conferences on Wednesday, October 28th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Thursday, October 29th from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM for TK-4 and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for preschool. As a reminder, we will have a 1:20 dismissal on both of these days to accommodate conferences. There will be no preschool sessions on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday all day, as preschool will not be in session during these times. Thank you for planning accordingly! Friday, October 30th will be a NO school day.
During these conferences, your child will take the lead in sharing their progress and learning goals with you. This is a fantastic opportunity to:
Hear directly from your child about their academic journey
Learn about their strengths and areas for growth
Collaborate with your child's teacher to support their continued success
Conference Sign-up:
To schedule your conference slot, please visit the following link:
Link: https://www.myconferencetime.com/woodbine/
We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible, as slots may fill up quickly.

Important note for TK families:
Due to limited conference spaces available for preschool families, TK students should prioritize conference sign-up with Mrs. Oster or Mrs. Mullen and do not need to sign up with the preschool teachers. If you would like an individual time with your child's preschool teacher, please reach out to your child's PM preschool teacher, and we will work with you to find a time to meet.

Private Conference Option:
There will be two slots open for each timeframe for families to sign up. Preschool will continue to hold individual conferences. If you prefer a private conference, please let your child’s teacher(s) know directly, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We are excited about our parking guideline designed to improve safety and efficiency during drop-off and pick-up times. We are calling this "Paws for Parents!" To better accommodate our families, we have designated specific parking stalls along 5th Street for parent drop-off and pick-up only. These stalls are marked with paw prints and are located by the elementary ramp on the southeast side and in front of the preschool doors towards the southwest side of the building. By using these designated stalls, you can help ensure the safety of our students and staff while also reducing traffic congestion along 5th Street. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with these new guidelines and to use them consistently.

Are you ready for some football?
With the 2026 Tiger football season approaching, it’s time to discuss reserved parking spaces overlooking the field.
There are 10 parking spaces with a full view of the football field. We are placing these prime spaces in a silent auction and allowing those interested to bid on them. The parking space will be awarded to whoever has the highest bid for that specific spot; if there is a spot with multiple bids at the same amount, it will go to whoever made the bid first.
All money collected from this program goes directly to the Woodbine Activities Department to support all Activities programs!
The link to the bidding form is on the flyer, as well as here:
