Gunner Wagner has officially signed his letter of intent to continue his cross country and track career at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where he plans to pursue a degree in Athletic Training. Gunner wrapped up an extraordinary senior cross country season with his fourth consecutive trip to the state meet, showcasing remarkable improvement each year: from 47th as a freshman, to 36th as a sophomore, 17th as a junior, and culminating in an outstanding 2nd-place finish. He also led the Tigers to their fourth team trophy during his career. Gunner boasts impressive personal bests of 16:05 in the 5K, 9:36 in the 3200m, and 4:30 in the 1600m. His high school accomplishments include state medals in the 4x800m relay (8th), 3200m (3rd), and an All-State finish in cross country (2nd). This spring, Gunner aims to make a big impact at the state track meet, competing in four events and contributing significant points for the Tigers. Join us in wishing Gunner the best of luck as he continues his pursuit of excellence at the collegiate level!

Woodbine National Honor Society is teaming up with community members to clean up the town and the school. Mulch will be laid, downtown windows washed, and trash will be picked up and disposed of!
