Woodbine Community School District has built one of the most thoughtful and advanced school safety systems in the area. Combining cutting-edge technology with everyday care for student well-being.

Thanks to a $135,000 grant from the Wellmark Foundation, students have full-time, on-site access to licensed mental health counselors through our partnership with Family Connections, making support available when it’s needed most.

But that’s just the beginning. Over the last two years, the safety features listed below have added another layer of protection for our students and staff.

AI-powered weapon detection with ZeroEyes

Real-time emergency alerts and building maps via AEGIX AIM

Increased security cameras, duress buttons, and direct law enforcement links

Regular safety drills for students and staff
