Completed applications are to be turned in to Kara Besaw at kbesaw@woodbine.k12.ia.us, mailed to Woodbine CSD Attn. Kara Besaw, 501 Weare St Woodbine, IA 51579 –OR- in-person at any available School Office.
Once your application has been received and processed, a result letter will be mailed or emailed to you, arriving within 10 business days after successful submission.
If you did NOT receive an emailed letter of direct certification, please complete an application if you wish to do so. Your status will remain the same as the previous school year for 30 operating days into the new school year (Aug 23rd - Oct 7, 2024) or until a new eligibility determination is made, whichever comes first. If you are no longer directly certificated and have not completed an application then come October 8, 2024, you will be changed to Full Pay status.
You can apply for free and reduced-price meals at any time during the school year. If you have any increase to household size or decrease in household income, etc. the application is available to be completed at any time.
