During the past 2 weeks of CS/STEM in 5th & 6th grade, Mrs. Harris, Mr. Bartels, and Mrs. Allen helped guide the students using the Sphero Bolt, Sphero Indy, and Cubelets. The media was from our local Green Hills AEA on a 2-week loan.

Cubelets and Sphero are innovative tools for learning and promoting communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Cubelets are magnetic, electronic building blocks with tiny computers inside. They can connect in various ways to perform tasks like moving around, following hand signals, or playing sounds. These blocks introduce computational thinking, breaking down complex problems for simple solutions.

Sphero, a bluetooth-enabled robot, offers hands-on learning through play and coding. It's a fantastic tool for exploring coding principles in a fun manner. Encouraging problem-solving skills early on is crucial in childhood development. Tools like Sphero robots help teach kids critical thinking and problem-solving effectively.

Students were paired up and could choose what Coding they wanted to do with whatever device they chose.
